Annie Storey appointed CFO of NYCE Sensors

NYCE Sensors, a leading provider of wireless ZigBee sensors to the SMA industries, announced today the appointment of Annie Storey as CEO of the company.

In this new role, Storey will insure the company’s compliance to proper accounting and public market standards, direct the finance team, and work closely with the management team and the Board.

Storey commented “I am very excited to join the great team at NYCE with a mandate to oversee the fiscal integrity of the company and help insure its continued growth. Annie brings over 25 years of experience in providing accounting, financial reporting and corporate services to Canadian and US private/public companies with operations around the world. Her experience includes twelve years in public practice in the areas of audit, accounting and quality control with CA Firms including KPMG & MNP. She is proficient in the areas of International Financial Reporting Standards and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Standards. Annie was certified as a Chartered Accountant after obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University with majors in finance and international business. Annie is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C.’s Practice Review & Licensing Committee, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Practitioners’ Technical Advisory Committee, and regularly participates on boards of non-profit organizations.
